Able Canopies Ltd design, manufacture and install quality canopy, shelter and shade systems to commercial organisations throughout the UK.

Able Canopies Ltd (Head Office), based in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, began trading over 15 years ago offering a nationwide bespoke canopy service principally to schools and colleges. The main focus of the company was to manufacture and install a range of canopies, which were guaranteed to last and would provide a low maintenance, high quality solution, suitable for use in the school environment.

The very first product manufactured and installed by Able Canopies was the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy, a commercial grade aluminium and uPVC system using 40mm “X” structure polycarbonate. A range of free standing canopies and shelters followed, all based on the continuing ethos of quality and longevity.

Able Canopies continues to expand in an effort to meet the continuing demand for quality canopies and shelters throughout the UK. Three additional branches have been opened in order to allow us to better serve the needs of our expanding client base; Able Canopies (North) Ltd, based in Cumbria (opened 2008), Able Canopies (West) Ltd based in Avon (2010) and Able Canopies (South-East) based in Kent (2010).

During this period of sustained growth, Able Canopies have increased their client base to include the leisure, healthcare, hospitality and retail sectors and continue to build quality working relationships with local authorities, head teachers, site managers, architects, contractors and specifiers.

Our product range currently includes wall mounted canopies, free standing APEX and dome systems, entrance canopies, walkways, shade sails, cycle shelters, cycle compounds, waiting shelters and buggy shelters.
