Our best year ever!

Our best year ever - Able Canopies Ltd. It really has been a bumper year for Able Canopies! With our year-end results now in, we are pleased to announce that we have achieved a 59% increase in turnover, which is a huge success and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone we have working here at Able Canopies. I’d like to thank all our customers for their continued support throughout the year, and for helping to make this our best year ever!

Expanding our Expertise into New Markets
Whilst we continue to specialise in serving the educational sector, we have experiencing a large increase in demand from new markets, with a particularly sharp increase in projects from the health and retail sectors. We have also been specified by Architects more than ever before, and have successfully won bids from world renowned architects and contractors.

A Devoke Junior canopy installed at St Peter’s Church in Wales School, Wrexham. The introductionof our Junior Range has been key to the successful increase in profits in FY13/14.

Financial and Operational Successes
In addition to this record breaking increase in turnover, we have also seen our profits rise by a massive 300%, thanks to our work to centralise operations and reduce costs. The introduction of our cost-effective Junior range of canopies has also contributed to this increase in profit as these value engineered products have allowed us offer high quality and attractive cover at a competitive price to customers who are on a tight budget.

As well as financial success we have also successfully achieved our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 for the third consecutive year and the implementation of new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology has ensured we have managed our projects with greater efficiency, ensuring the journey from enquiry through to installation is seamless and allowing us to provide our customers with exceptional service at every stage.

Our Free Standing Range becomes Our Best Selling Products
Our product range has continued to evolve and grow, and extensive research and development has allowed us to build on and improve existing products to provide even more benefits and saving for customers.

Exciting new products have also been brought to market, including our revolutionary Ascot Solar Glass upgrade which integrates Integrated Photovoltaic (IPV) glass panels into a selection of our canopy roofing systems to allow customer to harness the sun’s ray and generate free, green electricity for their organisation.

And, whilst our Coniston wall mounted canopy remains popular we have seen a surge in demand for our free standing range, particularly due to our cost conscious Junior Free Standing products, making our free standing products our best sellers of the year.

What’s Next for Able Canopies
Looking ahead, we have many more exciting plans for this new financial year, including the launch of our brand new brochure scheduled for September, and we have some great new products in the pipeline, included timber shelters and a Junior version of our ever popular Coniston wall mounted canopy.

It is an exciting time for our company and although we have had a fantastic result this financial year, we know we cannot sit back and relax! We will continue to work hard to improve and develop our product range and provide the best customer service, ensuring that we continue to be The Canopy Experts!
