Empty Classroom Day

Join other schools and organisations across the UK by taking part in this years’ Empty Classroom Day.

Empty Classroom day is on 19th June 2015 and encourages schools to teach outside for the day and to promote learning outside of the classroom.

Empty Classroom Day 19th June 2015

Whether you decided to hold a standard lesson outdoors, hold a special lesson outdoors such as planting/wildlife exploration or organise a school trip, the choice is yours! As long as your pupils are out of the classroom for the day whilst still learning, you are taking part.

If you have a canopy or outdoor classroom, then make sure you make use of it! If the weather is unfortunately poor on Empty Classroom Day then your canopy will enable you to still hold your lessons outside whilst keeping all staff and children sheltered from the rain.
