The Tarnhow Dome Canopy is an attractive freestanding dome system that creates an eye-catching focal point to your outdoor area. Its distinctive timber framework adds a modern touch to any environment and is ideal for making use of large areas that are currently under used, especially during wet weather.
Provide your pupils or visitors with a comfortable and spacious area which is sheltered from the weather all year. This canopy is perfect for creating outdoor dining areas, seating areas and playground shelter.
The Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Canopy is constructed from a Glulam timber frame which is PEFC certified, sustainable, fire resistant to BS 5268 and environmentally friendly.

- Attractive Domed Roof to Create an Eye-Catching Canopy
- Can Cover Large Areas – The Tarnhow Dome has an unlimited length with 6 metres between posts, and a projection of up to 16 metres
- A Seamless Finish – All visible fixings are timber, leaving you with a flawless timber canopy
- Curved Timber Frame – The frame is made from Glulam (Glue Laminated) timber which is sourced from PEFC accredited timber merchants
- Fire Resistance – The timber frame features a fire resistant that meets BS 5268
- Environmentally Friendly and Economical Product – A standard steel beam takes 6 times the energy cost to produce and Glulam is lighter in weight than similar materials resulting in less transport emissions
- Approved Timber – Complies with the requirements of British Standard BS EN 386: 2001
- Polycarbonate Roof Panels – Choice of 5mm solid or 16mm structured polycarbonate which is vandal and shatter resistant
- High UV Protection – Blocking in excess of 98% of UV rays
- Choice of Colour – The timber frame can be finished a choice of 10 colours and the roof panels are available in clear or opal; please see the colour options tab for colour swatches
- 15 Year Life Expectancy – Subject to the chosen finish and adherence to the maintenance schedule
