BBC Children in Need - BBC Children in need funds for non-profit organisations that work with disadvantaged children and young people of 18 years and under who live in the UK, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. The small grants programme donates fund for up to £10,000.

Essex Environmental Trust - provides grants for playground and recreational areas, youth projects, village halls, community buildings and more. All projects must be within 10 miles of a licensed landfill site. Grants can be awarded up to £10,000 or more in somes cases.

The secret millionaire fund - nominate or apply for a community grant which offers between £300 and £10,000.

Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) - has funding available to help promote the social, economic and environmental well-being of the locality and enhance a physical asset. 

The Ford Britain Trust - Ford pay special attention to projects focusing on education, environment, children, the disabled, youth activities and projects that provide clear benefits to the local communities close to their UK locations. Large Grant deadline is 4th May 2012
