Planning permission is sometimes required before a canopy, shelter or shade sail is installed. In cases where this is necessary, we can work closely with you, advising what you need and where you can get it from.

The help and advice we provide at Able Canopies is free of charge, however the cost of the application and any necessary maps will have to be passed on to you.  

General guidelines as to whether you will require planning are as follows:

• the structure measures more than 30 m²
• the structure is less than 20 m from the school boundary.
