Waterproof Shade Sails

The Edendale provides stylish outdoor cover, with high and low points giving it an aesthetically pleasing effect similar to our Able Shade Sail range. The Edendale covers those underneath from the sun and rain with a choice of either square or triangle shade sails.

Able Tensile Structures are permanent structures which are fully fitted and installed by Able Canopies trained teams of fitters.

The Edendale shade sails offer:

Available sizes are 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m square and 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m triangle
Unmatched strength with a weight of 590 g/sqm
Available in 40 colours
High UV protection
Ease of maintenance with a consistently smooth appearance
Supported by maintenance free tubular steel posts which have a diameter of 219mm upwards depending on the size of the tensile roof
Steel posts can be powder coated to the colour of your choice
Galvanised posts as standard which can be powder coated to any standard RAL no.

The Fabric

Our exclusive tensile fabric is completely waterproof and is constructed from a woven base cloth which has high tenacity polyester threads. Throughout the manufacturing process, the fabric is coated under constant tension in both warp and weft directions giving it a high performance polymer surface layer. The exclusive technology used on the yarn, gives it true elongation resistance, so once coated, minimum movement in the finished product will occur which is a key factor in the durability of the fabric on your tensile structure.

The fabric is available in 40 colours and can adapt to any required shape and size including walkways and umbrellas which makes them particularly suited to the education and leisure sectors. The flexibility of the fabric allows us to present you with an exciting range of tensile structures in whatever commercial settings you require cover for.

Tensile Fabric Colour Options:

The Framework

The framework for each structure within our range is manufactured from tubular or box section steel depending on the chosen design. It can be galvanised, galvanised and powder coated or just powder coated. Choose a galvanised finish (required for the Beacon range) for an extensive 10 year guarantee.
