The Keswick
The Keswick is a striking free standing structure which is ideal for open spaces especially in outdoor learning and play environments. This structure which uses an exclusive waterproof material is also able to cover large areas due to its ability to span up to 5m and is supported by maintenance free tubular steel posts which have a diameter of 168.2mm and upwards.
Able Tensile Structures are permanent structures which are fully fitted and installed by Able Canopies trained teams of fitters.

The fabric
Our exclusive tensile fabric is completely waterproof and is constructed from a woven base cloth which has high tenacity polyester threads. Throughout the manufacturing process, the fabric is coated under constant tension in both warp and weft directions giving it a high performance polymer surface layer. The exclusive technology used on the yarn, gives it true elongation resistance, so once coated, minimum movement in the finished product will occur which is a key factor in the durability of the fabric on your tensile structure.
The fabric is available in 40 colours and can adapt to any required shape and size including walkways and umbrellas which makes them particularly suited to the education and leisure sectors. The flexibility of the fabric allows us to present you with an exciting range of tensile structures in whatever commercial settings you require cover for.

The framework
The framework for each structure within our range is manufactured from tubular or box section steel depending on the chosen design. It can be galvanised, galvanised and powder coated or just powder coated. Choose a galvanised finish (required for the Beacon range) for an extensive 10 year guarantee.
All our tensile structures have been engineered to withstand the UK's wind and snow loading calculations.

Available Upgrades

All our structures are available with heating and lighting as an upgrade. Each heater gives off a soft ambient light and has a heat span of up to 12 metres square giving those underneath a comfortable and warm environment to sit and play under. We offer two types of heaters; a simple but effective slim-line heater and a heater with integrated lights at each end which can be used independently or simultaneously. The heaters are manufactured from aluminium extrusion and utilises a very efficient spectral quality reflector formed from high grade treated aluminium, making the heaters technically superior and acceptable in most environments. The exceptional performance of our heaters extends to its long lamp life of 7,000 hours ensuring that the heater is almost maintenance free. The heaters offer all the convenience of electricity together with very low running costs and are available in a choice of black, white or silver. |
