Conic Structures

The Codales elegant structure, with its attractive curves up to the centre, offers excellent cover from the weather with its ability to stretch large lengths. The tensile structure can be up to 6 metres wide and any 6 metres in length. Multiple Codale's can be installed to double or triple the length please see the image gallery below. The size of the structure you need will determine the number of domes. The framework of the Codale is constructed from maintenance free steel posts which measure 100mm x 100mm x 4mm.

Able tensile structures are manufactured in-house and installed by our fully trained teams of fitters for quality assurance.

• Tensile fabric which has an unmatched strength with a weight of 590g/sqm
• High UV protection from the sun's powerful UV rays
• Ease of maintenance with a consistently smooth appearance

• Supported by maintenance free steel frame
• The steel frame can be powder coated to one of our standard RAL colours. Other non-standard RAL colours are available at an additional cost
• If required, the steel frame can be galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 if required for ultimate corrosion protection
• A guarantee of up to 10 years for complete peace of mind. The tensile fabric has a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years
• Available with heating and lighting options to keep your covered area warm and bright

The Fabric  

Our exclusive tensile fabric is completely waterproof and is constructed from a woven base cloth which has high tenacity polyester threads. Throughout the manufacturing process, the fabric is coated under constant tension in both warp and weft directions giving it a high performance polymer surface layer. The exclusive technology used on the yarn, gives it true elongation resistance, so once coated, minimum movement in the finished product will occur which is a key factor in the durability of the fabric on your tensile structure.

The fabric is available in 40 colours and can adapt to any required shape and size including walkways and umbrellas which makes them particularly suited to the education and leisure sectors. The flexibility of the fabric allows us to present you with an exciting range of tensile structures in whatever commercial settings you require cover for.

The Framework

The framework for each structure within our range is manufactured from tubular or box section steel depending on the chosen design. It can be galvanised, galvanised and powder coated or just powder coated. Choose a galvanised finish for an extensive 10 year guarantee on the steel frame.
