Create an Impressive Melted Crayon Artwork – KidSpot has some really fun activities for children of all ages, we particularly love this activity for melting crayons to make a beautiful colourful piece of artwork – great for hanging on the wall to brighten up a nursery or child’s bedroom.

Activity Village – The Activity Village has many things for children to do and make. They have many themed activities and resources as well as many games, colouring pages and crafts for any time of the year. We think that the page about the Chinese New Year is great for teaching children about other cultures. Find out all about the Chinese New Year which beings on 10th February (year of the snake), this website also has many Chinese New Year crafts, colouring pages, recipes and more.

Artful Parent – The Artful Parent website is packed with hundreds of artistic things to make and try. This melting ice science experiment is fantastic! A parent or teacher would need to help children with this one as it could get a little messy but it is definitely worth a go – We can’t wait to try it ourselves! 🙂

The Kidz Page – The Kids Page is full of educational & fun games for children from year 1 to year 10! The games cover all school subjects such as maths, English and science and they also have other games for testing your memory, why not test out your maths skills with this tricky Brain Racer game.
