The November edition of the Outside Comfort Zone should have just landed on your desk!

In this latest edition, we talk about our recent install at Bournemouth University. This ground breaking project uses energy generating solar canopies to help the University develop a green and sustainable dynamic to its new transport hub.  There is also an informative case study which talks about the brief, solution and installation at Jo Richardson Community School. If you are looking for a solution to cover a large space then this will be of interest to you.

We also discuss some of the different entrance canopy projects that have taken place over the previous months. Entrance canopies have different requirements for depending on the project. For many they are a practical addition that helps users of a building, or as in the case of our installation at BT Magna Park, a larger site entrance. For some they make a statement that is all part of the service that a customer will expect when they enter the building. This is what Hilton were looking for at their hotel in York, also featured in our round up.

Able canopies have been an early adopter of BIM and we have 70 objects available for assessment and download on the NBS BIM Library. In OCZ this month we give a quick update on how that is working out for us. Quick hint…it’s pretty good.

You can read this month’s newsletter here or we can send you a printed copy. Get in touch and leave your contact details on sales@ablecanoipies.co.uk and we will do the rest.
