Roof Panels
The roof panels are 4mm solid polycarbonate that are of the highest quality and are extremely strong.
High UV Protection – During the manufacturing process, the polycarbonate is coated on both sides with a high UV protective coating that protects people underneath against high levels of UV rays and also presents the panels from discolouring or losing their shine overtime.
Fire Resistance – The polycarbonate roof panels that are supplied as standard (clear) have passed the UK fire rating BS 476 Part 7 Class 1Y and the European fire rating EN 13501-1 B s1 d0.
Light Transmission – The roof sheets transmit high levels of light, depending on the colour chosen. Please see the chart below for the results from the method DIN 5036:

Framework
The framework is made from T5 grade aluminium sections. Aluminium is a light weight, robust metal that is naturally corrosion resistant. Find out more about the benefits of aluminium here.
Integrated Guttering
The Balmoral features guttering that is hidden within the framework and disperses rainwater through small drip spouts.
Snow Loading Capabilities
The Balmoral has been tested for uniformly distributed snow loads up to 170daN/m² by by TÜV and did not shown any signs of damage.
