Polycarbonate Roof Panels
4mm solid polycarbonate sheets that are robust, offer high UV protection, have a high light transmittance and a good fire rating. Please see below for further information.High UV Protection
– The polycarbonate is treated with a special UV coating on both sides. This protects those underneath from harmful UV rays and also prevents the panels from yellowing due to UV degradation.High Light Transmittance
– The roof panels let through excellent volumes of light subject to the colour. Please see the table below shows for the results from the test method DIN 5036:

Please note: We do not have the results for embossed or opal polycarbonate.
Good Fire Rating
- The standard (clear) polycarbonate roof panels have a good fire rating and meet the European standard EN 13501-1 B s1 d0 and the UK standard BS 476 Part 7 Class 1Y.
The framework is constructed from T5 grade aluminium that is naturally rust resistant.
The Ferndale has integral aluminium guttering that disperses rainwater out of drip spouts which are located at the front of the canopy.
The Abberton has been approved and passed the tests by TÜV for loads up to 170daN/m².
