Cranmer Primary School – Coniston Freestanding Canopy

In March 2026, we supplied and installed an 8m x 4m Coniston Freestanding Canopy at Cranmer Primary School in Mitcham, Surrey.

Cranmer Primary School approached Able Canopies looking to maximise the use of their outdoor space by introducing a sheltered area that would allow pupils to continue playing and learning outside, even during wet weather. Following a detailed site assessment, our team worked closely with the school to identify the most suitable option to enhance the usability of their playground all year round.

To meet these requirements, we installed a Coniston Freestanding Canopy, a robust and low-maintenance structure designed for long-term performance in busy school environments. Manufactured using high-quality, commercial-grade materials, the canopy provides reliable protection from rain, wind, and harmful UV rays, creating a safe and comfortable outdoor area for both play and learning.
