Why We Use Polycarbonate

Able Canopies does not use Perspex/acrylic for our canopy roof glazing. Depending on the canopy design, we specify either polycarbonate or glass.

While acrylic can offer a lower-cost glazing option in some applications, polycarbonate provides an excellent combination of strength, impact resistance, low weight and durability, making it particularly suitable for demanding commercial and public environments.

Understand the Fire Ratings

Fire classifications such as B-s1,d0 and B-s2,d0 contain important information about how a material reacts when exposed to fire.
