The Spotlight Theatre – Shade Sails

In April 2025, we supplied and installed two Able Shade Sails at The Spotlight Theatre in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

Spotlight Theatre wanted to enhance one of its entrances by creating a sheltered, welcoming area for guests. With comfort and safety in mind, the contractor working with the theatre reached out to Able Canopies for a solution, and we were more than happy to help.

After evaluating the site and understanding their goals, we recommended the installation of our Able Shade Sails. These modern, eye-catching structures not only add a splash of colour to the area but also provide essential UV protection. The sails offer cool, shaded seating, making them ideal for a waiting area where visitors can relax before performances.

This practical and stylish solution has significantly improved the theatre’s outdoor space, ensuring guests are comfortable and protected whatever the weather. It’s a simple yet effective upgrade that delivers both functionality and visual appeal.
