Versatile, practical and easily maintained, Able Shade Sails offer extremely high levels of UV protection combined with strength and durability. They are available in a wide range of colours, allowing you to create colourful designs to complement or contrast with your surroundings.

Commercial Shade Sails
Our Able Shade Sails are commercial grade structures and are therefore not suitable for domestic installations. Your site must have enough space to accommodate the posts that support the sails and the foundations that the posts are fixed into.

Features and Benefits:
- High UV Protection from the Sun – The fabric blocks up to 96.5% of UV rays depending on the colour of the fabric chosen
- Up to 6m Widths – Each sail is available up to 6m wide for the standard fabric and up to 3m wide for the dual colour fabric
- High Strength Fabric – The fabric is 340gsm (350gsm for dual colours) knitted UV stabilised HDPE which will not rot or absorb moisture
- High Tear Strength – 194N in warp and 282N in weft
- Lock Stitched – Sail fabric is lock stitched using advanced technology to allow for more air movement and better channelling of cooling breezes
- Wide Range of Colours – A range contemporary fabric colours to choose from including our striking dual colours – see the colours tab for more information
- Choice of Sail Shapes – Square, rectangular and triangular sails available
- Robust Posts – Hot dip galvanised posts as standard, for ultimate corrosion protection
- Fire Retardant – With a flammability index of 1, ignitability index of 13, spread of flame index of 8, heat evolved index of 3 and smoke developed index of 6
- Toxin Free – The fabric is 100% lead and Phthalate free for a healthier environment
- 10 Year Warranty – The fabric is supplied with a 10 year warranty against UV degradation
- Up to 25 Year Life Expectancy – The galvanised steel posts have a life expectancy of up to 25 years
- Installation Included – Fully installed by our trained and DBS checked teams of fitters

High Point & Hypar
Standard designs include high point and hypar. A high point has one corner of the shade sail at a higher point than the other corners. A hypar has two opposite corners of the shade sails at a high point and two opposite corners at a low point.

Our standard shade sail fabric has an extremely high ignition point and low flammability:

Easy Maintenance
This product requires only periodic cleaning. For lasting results they should be hosed down with water occasionally to retain visually stunning aesthetics at all times.
UV Protection
The fabric blocks up to 96.5% of UV rays.
The Dual Colour fabric blocks up to 93.6% of UV rays depending on the colour of the fabric as shown below:
