My Favourite Awning Installation So Far..

My favourite awning installation so far has to be the Darwin Awning that we installed at Roman and Saxon Court in October 2014.

Kier Construction were completing a project for Cross Key Homes, building a new block of flats for the over 55’s and we were excited to be asked to be a part of it. The new flats would offer the residents independence and a sense of community.

The reason why I have chosen this installation as my favourite is because the colour and style chosen gives it a fantastic finish to the building it was installed on and it also gives the residents a shaded area to enjoy the outside.

We installed a large 7m x 3.5m Darwin Commercial Awning at Roman and Saxon Court, the fabric of the awning was chosen to be the colour teal, allowing the residents to sit and relax underneath and enjoy the outdoors when it’s hot and sunny.

I really enjoy providing solutions for care homes and retirement homes as our products can help residents enjoy and benefit from the outdoors all year round. Having a relaxing outside area to enjoy the outdoors and socialize, gives residents within retirement flats and complexes freedom and enjoyment that they may not be able to experience if they are sensitive to the Sun.roman-saxon-court-peterborough-darwin-awning 02 edit small
