NOV Process & Flow Technologies UK Ltd – Coniston Freestanding Canopies

In April 2026, we supplied and installed two Coniston Freestanding Canopies at NOV Process & Flow Technologies UK Ltd in Manchester, Greater Manchester.

As part of a recent facility upgrade, Able Canopies worked in partnership with Portakabin Ltd to support NOV Process & Flow Technologies UK Ltd in enhancing their modular buildings with improved weather protection. The objective was to create a more practical and comfortable environment for staff, particularly in areas where employees move between indoor and outdoor spaces or wait to access the building.

Operating within sectors such as oil and gas, wastewater and industrial processing, NOV Process & Flow Technologies UK Ltd required a solution that was both durable and fit for purpose. Following a detailed assessment of the site, Able Canopies recommended the installation of a Coniston Freestanding Canopy.

The Coniston canopy provides effective protection from rain, strong sunlight and seasonal weather, making it ideally suited to modular environments where sheltered access points are essential. Its freestanding design allows for flexible positioning, ensuring key entrances and walkways remain accessible while offering a safe and comfortable space for staff.

This installation demonstrates how a simple yet carefully considered addition can significantly enhance the functionality of a site. By improving accessibility and creating a more sheltered environment, the canopy supports staff wellbeing while contributing to the long-term usability of the facility.
