Storybook Montessori – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In December 2025, we supplied and installed a Bespoke Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Storybook Montessori in Ascot, Surrey.

Storybook Montessori required a practical and durable solution to enhance their outdoor learning space while providing additional privacy for pupils and staff. Located next to a new housing development in Ascot, the nursery needed an all-weather structure that would screen the garden area from neighbouring properties and allow the space to be used throughout the year. Working with a tight deadline, Able Canopies assessed the site and recommended a bespoke Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy solution that fitted around the nurseries’ building to meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

The installed Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy features a strong aluminium frame and UV-protected polycarbonate roof panels, delivering reliable weather protection with minimal maintenance. Integrated side screening provides the required privacy without compromising natural light, creating a comfortable and secure outdoor environment in all seasons. This installation has transformed the nursery’s external space into a versatile area that supports outdoor learning, play, and creativity, while offering long-term value and durability.
