Going Green One Tree at a Time
The world is changing and we’re starting to realise that it’s important we start looking after our planet. Here at Able Canopies, as a company we are keen to do our bit and have been achieving the renowned ISO 14001 environmental awareness certification for many years. We were also particularly pleased to see that this year, we reduced our carbon footprint by 29.316 tonnes.
As a way to go that extra mile, we have made the decision to team up with the Tree Appeal and plant trees for every order placed via an educational setting i.e. schools, nurseries, colleges and universities. This is something we are very excited about and can’t wait to start planting them.
We will plant our first trees for each canopy order installed in October 2021 and will continue for the next 12 months. You can find out more about why we’re planting trees here: Able Canopies tree planting scheme and if you check back regularly, you will see our tree-o-metre fill up as each month goes by.
