Play & Learn Outdoors | December 2023 | Issue 3.1

December seems to have appeared out of nowhere and before you know it, you will be taking a well-deserved festive break.

I’m sure the last few months have been hectic with the usual running of the school, plus your Christmas fundraising events. So if you haven’t had much time to plan ahead for the new year, don’t worry, we have been busy gathering ideas and inspiration to help you out.

This months edition of P&LO therefore introduces you to how you can raise cash from trash, encourage pupils to walk to school, discover outdoor art activities, how nature can be used in your lessons this winter and lots of canopy and outdoor classroom inspiration.

When you get a chance, take a break, sit back, relax with your favorite drink and have a flick through this edition of P&LO. Hopefully you’ll be able to take some ideas back to the classroom.

If you enjoy reading P&LO, why not leave a copy in your staff room for your colleagues to enjoy too? If they would like to receive their own copies, drop us an email: marketing@ablecanopies.co.uk and we’ll add them to the list.

Enjoy the winter and we’ll be back in the spring for more ideas and inspiration.

Competition Time:

To add a little jingle to this months newsletter, we have hidden a bookish snowman somewhere in this edition of P&LO. If you find him, email marketing@ablecanopies.co.uk with the page number that he’s on, to be in with a chance of winning one of five £50 book vouchers for your school. Good Luck!
