My Favourite North Yorkshire Installation So Far…
Able Canopies have installed a range of products at different schools and organisations across North Yorkshire including Wall Mounted Canopies, Shade Sails and Bespoke Canopies; however I do have one favourite installation so far – Springhead School in Scarborough.
In February 2012 my installation teams installed our first canopy at Springhead School which was a 14.7m x 3.6m Devoke free standing canopy this stunning structure was installed on their raised decking area in front of a Portakabin. The school chose to have their canopy finished in Gentian Blue to match their school colours.
The staff at the school were so impressed with the product installed along with the installation and service received from Able Canopies that they enquired about another canopy just two months after the installation.
In April 2012, the school required another Devoke free standing canopy to create a weatherproof area at the back of the school’s building. This time they required the canopy to have a valley so that it would follow the internal corner of the building. This was no problem, many of the structures in Able Canopies portfolio are able to fit around internal and external corners.
Due to existing construction works being carried out at the school and planning permission procedures, this product was installed in March 2013. The customers chose to have the canopy powder coated in Gentian Blue (RAL – 5010) again as with their first canopy and the total length was 18m with a 3m projection.
