Newberries Primary School required a cycle shelter to be situated in their outdoor area for their pupils to park their bicycles securely.

They contacted Able Canopies and requested an estimate for a bespoke cycle shelter similar to the Easydale Cycle Shelter. After discussions regarding the school’s requirements, an estimate was sent out.

Newberries Primary School then contacted Able Canopies and explained that they wanted to go ahead with the order, yet as the money was being funded by a charity, they needed a firm price before they could go ahead with the order.

A survey was booked in and, once that had been completed, a quote was sent to the school. The school also needed a base for the cycle shelter; Able Canopies were also able to provide a quote for this.

The school was happy with the quote and contacted Able Canopies to explain that they would like to go ahead with the order.

Prior to installation it became apparent that the trees around the area where the shelter was to be installed would cause conflict with the concrete base due to their roots. The options were to either remove three of the trees or re-site the shelter.

The school chose to have the shelter installed in a different area, this was simple to do and provided and easy solution.

The cycle shelter was installed with no problems and the staff at Newberries Primary School was delighted with their new shelter.

“The school was really impressed with the speed and professionalism of Able Canopies from the surveyor who checked the site, to the telephone advice line and and the installers on the three days it took to complete the work.” – Ms Peters
