My Favourite London Installation So Far…
I really love the canopies and shelters we create and it’s always great to see these products come to life and make a difference to an organisation. Over the years we have installed thousands of canopies and shelters and below is my favourite London Installation to date, what you think think of it? I’d love to read your comments.
Oakland’s Secondary School in Bethnal Green, London
In October 2011 we installed x5 canopies at Oakland’s Secondary School in London including a bespoke wall mounted glass canopy, x2 Kensington Wall Mounted Entrance Canopies, The Kensington Mono–Pitch Free Standing Canopy and the Kensington Dual-Pitch Free Standing Canopy. These are all stunning structures consisting of glass and polycarbonate roofs that are supported by robust steel frames.
We were contracted by Bouygues UK – a UK construction company to construct the canopies for the school. This job was a new challenge for us as many other contractors were also involved and onsite at the same time, and so communication was key. The challenge paid off in the end as all of the companies worked together perfectly and the finished results were outstanding.
