Our 2022 MacMillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 21^st October 2022, we held our annual coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. We support this charity every year, as they do such a wonderful job of supporting those living with cancer as well as their families. Every penny raised enables them to continue with their wonderful work and make a difference for those in need.

Our coffee morning was a big success with homemade cakes and bakes ranging from blueberry muffins, a cheesecake, lemon drizzle cake, a good old-fashioned ‘school cake’, choux buns, and sausage rolls – including gluten-free sausage rolls. We even had half a pack of rich tea biscuits because we are British and we love a dunk!

We were pleased to find that with just us guys and girls in the office, we raised a total of £81.25 in cash donations, plus digital donations, so we have estimated that the total is around £100. That’s a lot of cake and pastry consumed in one day, but we’re not quitters here, and if we commit to something, we do it properly. Not only are we the canopy experts, but we may also be the cake eating experts too!
