In June 2025, we supplied and installed a 5m x 4m Devoke Freestanding Canopy at Mount Pleasant Primary School in Newport, South Wales.

Mount Pleasant Primary School, a specialist SEN school in South Wales, collaborated with Newport Norse Ltd to enhance their outdoor environment. Recognising the need for weather protection at one of the key entrances and exits of the school, they sought a practical canopy solution to support students and staff throughout the year.

After evaluating the site and school requirements, we recommended the Devoke Freestanding Canopy. This stylish and robust structure delivers excellent coverage, creating a weather-protected area while maximising existing outdoor space.

The canopy was custom-designed to align with the school’s needs, offering a cost-effective, low-maintenance, and functional upgrade to their outdoor facilities. With this installation, Ysgol Bryn Derw now enjoys a sheltered zone.
