In August 2026, we supplied and installed a Grasmere Timber Clad Cycle Shelter 8.4 m x 2.05 m at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys in Sevemoaks, Kent.

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys approached Able Canopies looking to improve its cycling facilities with a dedicated covered bicycle storage area for pupils and staff. The school wanted a practical, long-lasting solution that would protect bicycles from the weather while supporting active and sustainable travel.

Following an assessment of the school’s requirements, our team supplied and installed a timber-clad cycle shelter, designed to provide dependable protection while complementing the surrounding school environment.

The completed school cycle shelter provides a practical and attractive space for storing bicycles, helping to keep the site organised while encouraging more pupils and staff to consider cycling to school. The finished installation has enhanced the school’s outdoor facilities and created a dedicated cycling provision that can support its active travel objectives for many years to come.

Bishop Young Church of England Academy - Front Fills Installation

Back in July 2025, Able Canopies supplied and installed a 38.55m x 4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Bishop Young Church of England Academy in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The canopy created a large, sheltered area outside the school, providing pupils and staff with valuable protection from the weather when using the space and entering or leaving the building. Almost a year later, the academy returned to Able Canopies, looking to enhance their existing canopy with additional weather protection.
