Roseberry School – Coniston Apex Freestanding Canopy

In January 2026, we supplied and installed an 18 m x 12 m Coniston Apex Freestanding Canopy at Roseberry School in Epsom, Surrey.

Roseberry School approached Able Canopies to enhance their outdoor facilities by creating a sheltered space that students could use comfortably throughout the year. The school wanted to encourage pupils to spend more time outdoors during breaktimes and lunch periods while remaining protected from the elements. A robust canopy solution was required to ensure the area could be used in all weather conditions, improving the overall outdoor experience for students.

To achieve this, Able Canopies recommended and installed a Coniston Apex Freestanding Canopy, specifically designed for long-term performance in educational environments. Measuring 18m x 12m, the canopy now provides a spacious, durable shelter that allows students to dine and socialise outdoors in comfort. This installation has significantly improved the usability of the school’s external space, offering a safer, more inviting area that can be enjoyed all year round.
