At Able Canopies, we are proud to celebrate the achievements and community spirit of our team members. This year, Tracy, our Managing Director and Annabel, our Marketing Admin Assistant are stepping up to an inspiring personal challenge as they prepare to take part in the 26.2 mile MoonWalk London, organised by the cancer charity Walk the Walk Worldwide.

Their participation reflects not only dedication and determination but also a commitment to supporting an important cause that impacts countless families across the UK.

About the MoonWalk London Challenge

MoonWalk London is a unique overnight walking event held annually in London, bringing together thousands of participants who power walk marathon and half-marathon distances to raise funds and awareness for breast and other cancers. The 2026 event will take place on 16 May 2026 at Clapham Common, offering distances including the full 26.2 mile challenge Tracy and Annabel are undertaking.

The event is widely recognised for its vibrant atmosphere, with walkers often wearing decorated bras or colourful themed outfits as a symbol of awareness and solidarity. Since its inception, MoonWalk events have raised over £146 million to support research, prevention initiatives, and care services for people living with cancer.

Walking With Purpose

For Tracy and Annabel, this challenge represents far more than covering 26.2 miles. It is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, raise awareness, and stand alongside others who have been affected by cancer.

Training for a full-marathon walk requires consistency, resilience, and teamwork, qualities both participants are embracing as they prepare for the nighttime route through London.
