Danetree Primary School & Nursery – Coniston Freestanding Canopy

In April 2026, we supplied and installed a 36m x 4m Coniston Freestanding Canopy at Danetree Primary School & Nursery in West Ewell, Surrey.

Danetree Primary School & Nursery sought to enhance their outdoor space by introducing a sheltered area that could be used throughout the year for both learning and recreational activities. Having previously worked with Roseberry School, part of the same trust, Able Canopies were pleased to deliver another tailored solution to the trust.

Following a site survey, our team developed a canopy system that would maximise coverage while complementing the existing layout, ensuring both practicality and visual appeal.

The installation of a Coniston Freestanding Canopy has successfully transformed the area into a durable, low-maintenance, all-weather space. Constructed from commercial-grade materials, the canopy provides reliable protection from rain, wind and UV exposure, allowing pupils and staff to benefit from outdoor learning and play all year round.
