Palladio Awning

Westover Green Community School wanted their outdoor play areas to be shaded with retractable structures but preferred not to have any posts on the structures.

In March 2019, we installed a 4.2m x 3.5m Palladio Awning at a domestic property in Horsham, West Sussex. The Palladio Awning is perfect for creating temporary shelter within a setting. It is permanently fixed to your wall, yet it can be retracted as and when you like either manually or electronically.

We supplied and installed a 4.5m x 2.5m Palladio Awning at Christ Church CE VA Primary School in Weston-super-Mare on behalf of The Hookway Partnership Ltd.

Busy Bees Childcare Centre were looking to create a shaded area in their playground for their pupils. We installed a yellow 4.6m x 2.6m Commercial awning that they can easily open and close when not in use meaning the structure doesn’t take up any room when it is not in use.

Queen's Park Primary School wanted to create a shaded area in their playground. To meet the school’s requirements we installed a 6.6m x 3.6m electric commercial awning, they chose the structure’s fabric to be Perugia RAL 3888 with white framework.

We installed a 5m x 3.12m Commercial awning at All Saints’ Nursery to provide them with temporary cover from the sun. They choose to have an awning because they can quickly and easily open the structure during school hours, and then close it at the end of the day to ensure it is protected from damage.

Sailsbury District Hospital were looking for an attractive retractable shade solution at their hospital. We installed a 5.9m x 3.6m electronic commercial awning, with red and white stripy fabric.

St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School was in need of a canopy structure to provide shelter from the weather to their staff and pupils. St Cuthbert’s employed NBF Partnership, an architect based in Hanwell, London to contact Able Canopies on their behalf.

The BBC Television Centre contacted Able Canopies requesting a site survey to be conducted as they were in need of a covered smoking area for their staff. They were interested in Able Canopies’ Commercial Awnings that they viewed on the website.

Croydon University Hospital was in need of a sheltered play area within their hospital garden for their young patients to play and sit under. To achieve this shade they planned to install a shade structure with funding raised by the local golf club.

The Sitting Room is a cafe in St Albans that also has a function room that they hire out to groups and organisations including kids clubs, meeting venues, functions and drama sessions.

Adcrest Ltd. is an electrical contracting company that was working on a new refurbishment project for Stables Market in Camden, London. Stables Market was in need of a number of new commercial awnings to provide weather protection to the entrances of their shops.
