New Product Launch: Timber Cycle Shelters

We have been recently working closely with specialists within the timber industry to create a range of stunning timber cycle shelters for our customers. These timber shelters are constructed from curved Glulam timber which creates a striking contemporary appearance and is also sustainable as an added bonus! The Glulam timber is sourced from PEFC accredited timber merchants, making these timber cycle shelters much more environmentally friendly than steel structures.

The stylish timber shelters that we have had expertly designed are the Pembroke Timber Cycle Shelter and the Denver Timber Cycle Shelter and they are also cost effective to suit all budgets. They have a high quality finish which also creates a contemporary look – Each timber member undergoes a protective process called Micronising.

Micronising is a revolutionary new timber preserving process that protects the timber giving it a much longer lifespan. Micronized copper and quaternary compounds are pressure blasted into the timber cells which results in various benefits such protecting against insects, wood-rotting fungi and the effects of the weather.

The Denver Timber Cycle Shelter can store up to 10 bicycles with the use of double sided parking. A standard shelter measures 4.2m (length) x 1.6m (depth) and can be extended in 4.2m bays; extensions can be added at the time of initial installation or later on if your cycle parking demand increases over time.

The Pembroke Timber Cycle Shelter can store up to 16 bikes with the use of double sided parking and is therefore ideal for larger schools and healthcare or retail centres. A standard Pembroke measures 4.7m (length) x 3.1m (depth) and can also be extended in bays of 4.2m, again the shelter can be extended some time after installation if required.
