We’ve Got this Warehouse Covered
Earlier this month we completed an installation at a warehouse in Severn Beach, Bristol. They were looking to create a covered outside area that their staff could use to sit under and enjoy some fresh air whilst keeping protected from the weather. The canopy would also double up as an entrance canopy outside the staff dining room, providing a dry, sheltered entrance to the building.
Entrance canopies are highly beneficial to high traffic entrances because they can reduce the amount of rainwater that is walked into the building and can also stop people from congesting the inside of your entrance when the weather is particularly poor or too hot.
The canopy we supplied and installed at the warehouse is a 15m x 4.4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy powder coated in Jet Black (RAL 9005) to complement the existing external aesthetics. The main requirement for a canopy at the Bristol Warehouse was so that their staff had somewhere dry and sheltered to gather and socialise outside their dining room. They also required somewhere they could smoke whilst keeping sheltered from the elements.
The Coniston offers fantastic weather protection for the intended use; the polycarbonate roof panels will shelter their staff from the rainfall and also help to protect them from the sun, blocking over 98% of harmful UV rays.
