Hartshill Medical Centre-Entrance Canopy
In March 2023, we supplied and installed a 3.1m x 1.5m with hip into a 1.41m x 1.5m Kensington Mono-Pitch Freestanding Canopy at Hartshill Medical Centre in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
Able Canopies was approached during the early stages to tender for an entrance canopy designed to provide shade and shelter above the main entrance. Hayward Architects, who were in charge of the project design, specified a Kensington Mono-Pitch Freestanding Canopy in an L-shape to follow the outline of the entrance. Their preference was for a canopy with supporting rear posts to ease installation and reduce strain on the building.
The Kensington Mono-Pitch Freestanding Canopy was the perfect solution. It is highly popular in commercial settings such as hospitals, medical centres, and hospitality venues, thanks to its stylish, high-class appearance and robust construction that complements modern designs. The canopy can be covered with toughened glass panels to enhance aesthetics or 5mm solid, clear polycarbonate to mimic the appearance of glass.
The end result looks fantastic and truly enhances the main entrance of the brand-new medical centre, ensuring it will serve patients for many years to come.
