Able Canopies’ Macmillan Coffee Morning 2015

Able Canopies’ Macmillan Coffee Morning 2015

I can’t believe another year has passed and so has another Macmillan Coffee Morning! As usual we went all out with various staff members working hard in their spare time to bake lots of yummy treats to raise money for the amazing charity that is Macmillan Cancer Support.

Now this year though there was an issue – we couldn’t wait to stuck in and therefore didn’t take a full photo to show you all! Luckily though, our Operations Manager Tracy, remembered to take a photo (what would we do without her!) but it was taken before all cakes were on show. But at least you get to see some of the scrummy goods that we demolished in no time!

As I’m sure you are aware, Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that supports many, many people who suffer from the heart wrenching disease that is cancer. It helps those to get their lives back on track and to support them every step of the way – something that many people are sadly in need of everyday.

With the money we’ve raised and the money raised by all of you out there who also held coffee mornings, these people can continue to get the support they need and make their today seem brighter. We are happy to announce that our office raised an impressive £60 (now that’s a lot of cake!) and at the time of writing this blog, the Macmillan website states that a whopping £2,903,563.10 has been raised so far this year! As they say, “together we can make a difference”…
