It is a legal requirement that any development or building work must consider enabling access for people with disabilities. The Equality Act 2010, makes it clear that it is the responsibility of the service provider to make these changes where appropriate, and this can include access points.

It also offers UV protection, blocking out 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, which is really important during the summer months.

For those rainy days, while obviously providing cover and shelter for those accessing your building, an additional advantage to the system is that the canopy is equipped with an integral guttering system.

The colour of the finished canopy can also be matched to your existing building’s colour scheme. High visibility yellow post pads can also be supplied to help protect users should they have a trip or fall while near the canopy.

The disability access canopy is fully constructed from aluminium which makes it very strong, and therefore, it has a life expectancy of up to 25 years – making it a great long-term investment.
