Free Coronation Resources for Schools

Get your hands on free resources to help celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and The Queen Consort on Saturday 6th May.

To help you mark this almost once in a lifetime event, the government have provided free resources on their website dedicated to the coronation – https://coronation.gov.uk/ You can download a whole host of resources including printable worksheets to educate your pupils, educational films and free seeds. There are also resources for blind and visually impaired children.

Free Seeds

The Department for Education and The Eden Project’s National Wildflower Centre have collaborated and sent all schools free packets of wildflower seeds to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. You can download a free printable sheet that lists the different wildflowers you can expect to see grow from your seeds and it also provides guidance on how to grow and nurture your seeds for the best possible results.

Colouring Pages, Word Searches, Greetings Cards and More

The governments website also has a whole host of downloadable sheets that you can print and share with your pupils. The selection includes a dot-to-dot, a maze, a word search, colouring in pages, greetings cards and post cards, all of which are coronation themed. There are also many recipes you may be able to make with the children or send home with for their parents to try. And you can download printable bunting too, to decorate your classroom.

Resources for Blind and Visually Impaired Children

Living Paintings has provided resources for children who are blind or visually impaired so they too can join in with the celebrations and no one is left out.
