My Favourite Cambridgeshire Installation

My Favourite Cambridgeshire Installation

Earlier this year (2014), we installed two stunning Grasmere Timber Clad Cycle Shelters at All Saints CE Junior School in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. These cycle shelters allow the schools’ pupils to securely park up to a total of 32 bicycles with the use of double-sided parking. We cladded the shelters with Western Red Cedar wood that is sustainably sourced from FSC and PEFC-accredited timber merchants.

I love this installation because the cycle shelters look great in the school’s setting and offer a large amount of secure cycle parking for their pupils, encouraging them to cycle to school more often.

Did you know that offering secure designated areas to store bicycles can dramatically reduce incidents of theft and vandalism? They also put parents and pupils minds at rest knowing their costly bikes will be left in a safe and secure area while at school.

So what do you think? It’s a stylish shelter that goes well with both urban and natural environments. Contact us today to enquire about this cycle shelter or any of our other cycle shelters or cycle compounds and start encouraging cycling to school now.
