The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday 30^th September Able Canopies joined many businesses, schools, nurseries, groups, organisations and friends for Macmillian’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.

Over the past couple of years, we have been taking part in this brilliant fundraiser as we believe it’s for a great cause and the money raised helps so many people that are fighting cancer. Not to mention that it’s a great excuse to eat as much cakes as we physically can without feeling guilty!

As always, we had a great contribution of bakes this year which included a huge chocolate cake, a raspberry tray bake, choux buns, Nutella parcels and carrot cupcakes. We even added a bit of savoury to the mix with sausage rolls and vol-au-vents – all homemade by the talented ladies at Able Canopies.

We are very pleased to have raised £52.00 in total which is slightly less than last year so I guess we better start training to eat more cake and therefore raise more money next year! 😉
