Peterborough College – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In August 2025, we supplied and installed an 8m x 5.745m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Peterborough College in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Peterborough College wanted to transform their Refectory Garden—located just outside the dining room—into a more inviting and practical space for students. The goal was to encourage outdoor dining, socialising, and studying by providing a sheltered area that could be comfortably used throughout the year, no matter the weather.

Following a thorough assessment of the site and the college’s requirements, we recommended the installation of our Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy. Renowned for its durability, versatility, and sleek appearance, the Coniston offered the perfect solution. Its robust aluminium frame and high-quality polycarbonate roof panels provide reliable protection from rain and harmful UV rays, making it ideal for high-footfall education settings.

The newly installed canopy has not only enhanced the usability of the Refectory Garden but also created a more engaging and flexible outdoor environment for students. Whether used for dining, group study, or simply relaxing between classes, this weather-protected space supports student well-being while making the most of the college’s outdoor area.
