Smarden Primary School – Canopy Extension

After successfully installing a 10m x 3.4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Smarden Primary School in Ashford, Kent, in 2023, Able Canopies was delighted to return when the school wanted to expand its covered outdoor space. Having seen the benefits of the original installation, the school chose to extend the canopy to create a larger all-weather area for outdoor learning, play and everyday activities.

Our team extended the existing canopy by 20 metres, creating a 30m x 3.4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy with a total covered area of 102 square metres. Featuring a durable aluminium frame and high-quality polycarbonate roof panels, the completed installation provides reliable protection from rain while blocking over 98% of harmful UV rays, giving pupils and staff a bright, comfortable outdoor space that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
