Brackenfield SEND School – Third and Fourth Canopy Installation
In April 2026, we supplied and installed two Coniston Canopies at Brackenfield SEND School in Long Eaton, Nottingham.
Brackenfield SEND School once again partnered with Able Canopies to further enhance their outdoor facilities, following the success of previous installations. The school required two additional canopy systems to be installed during the holiday period, ensuring minimal disruption to pupils and staff. The aim was to create a dedicated sheltered area outside a classroom that could support both learning and play throughout the year.
Following a comprehensive site assessment, Able Canopies recommended a combination of a Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy and a Coniston Freestanding Canopy. These systems were selected for their durability, low-maintenance aluminium framework and ability to integrate seamlessly with the existing building layout. The completed installation now provides a practical, all-weather outdoor space that promotes engagement, supports pupil wellbeing and extends the usability of the school’s external environment.
