Frederick Gent School – Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy

In July 2023, we supplied and installed a 20 m x 6 m Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy at Frederick Gent School in South Normanton, Derbyshire.

Frederick Gent School wanted a canopy solution for their playground, aiming to enable year-round outdoor play and provide protection from all kinds of weather. The installation needed to create an environment for staff to be able to conduct outdoor lessons, enhancing the overall educational experience.

We recommended the Welford Dome Freestanding Canopy due to its versatility. This canopy design establishes a flexible outdoor space, offering shelter and allowing children to engage in learning activities while enjoying the fresh air throughout every season.
