Trelawnyd V A School – Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy

In March 2026, we supplied and installed an 8.2m x 3.74m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Trelawnyd V A School in Flintshire, North East Wales.

The school was looking to enhance its outdoor facilities by creating a sheltered area along the rear of the building for junior pupils to use throughout the year. Their aim was to introduce a durable, high-quality canopy that would provide reliable weather protection while blending well with the existing school environment.

Following a detailed site survey, the Able Canopies team recommended the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy, a popular choice for schools due to its strong aluminium framework and robust polycarbonate roof panels. The completed installation now provides dependable protection from rain and harmful UV rays, allowing the outdoor space to be used more frequently for learning, play and social activities. The new canopy not only improves the practicality of the area but also complements the school’s buildings while supporting year-round outdoor use for pupils and staff.
