In March 2026, we supplied and installed a 9.06m x 2m Valley Into 10.85m x 2m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Kingsfleet Primary School in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
Kingsfleet Primary School approached Able Canopies to enhance its outdoor environment by creating both a quiet, sheltered space within the playground and a practical covered walkway along the rear of the building. Previously, we supplied and installed a 6m x 6m Ulverston Umbrella, providing a dedicated area for pupils to relax and enjoy outdoor time with reliable protection from the elements. Building on this, the school wanted to further improve accessibility by introducing a sheltered route that would allow junior pupils to move between areas safely throughout the year.
Following a detailed site survey, our team recommended the Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy, a popular solution within the education sector due to its durable aluminium framework and high-performance polycarbonate roofing. The completed installation now delivers dependable protection from rain and harmful UV rays, creating a safe and usable walkway in all weather conditions. Together, these canopy solutions have transformed the school’s outdoor space, improving both functionality and appearance while supporting year-round outdoor use for pupils and staff.
