Bishop Young Church of England Academy – Front Fills Installation

Back in July 2025, Able Canopies supplied and installed a 38.55m x 4m Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy at Bishop Young Church of England Academy in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The canopy created a large, sheltered area outside the school, providing pupils and staff with valuable protection from the weather when using the space and entering or leaving the building. Almost a year later, the academy returned to Able Canopies, looking to enhance their existing canopy with additional weather protection.
Following a site assessment, we supplied and installed 12 front fills, each measuring approximately 3.21m x 2.36m, to the existing Coniston Canopy. The addition of the front fills provides increased protection from wind and driving rain while retaining the benefits of the original covered area.
This latest upgrade demonstrates how the versatile Coniston Wall Mounted Canopy can be adapted over time to meet changing requirements, providing Bishop Young Church of England Academy with an even more practical and comfortable outdoor space for pupils and staff.
