Our Canopies and Their Car Alter Egos

Here at Able Canopies HQ our Marketing and Sales team were discussing how we feel our products are the Rolls Royce of the canopy world. Whereas there are economical versions on the market are suited to smaller budgets, and are in-line with the lower end of the car market. Our canopies however, which are high in quality and workmanship yet still cost effective, have the commercial canopy market covered.

This led me to thinking about which car each of our canopies relate to the most. So here we have it, just for fun – a list of our most popular canopies and their car alter egos, I wonder if we’ve covered your favourite whip.

The Coniston | The Audi RS6

Naturally, I’m starting with our most popular canopy – The Coniston Canopy. I’ve chosen the Audi RS6 because it’s a great all-rounder, it’s a good size which covers all requirements, its looks chunky, yet sleek and is popular in white,. It is high-end, yet it’s still affordable – the Coniston is cost effective yet has a robust and long-lasting design with commercial grade materials. A perfect match!

Tarnhow Dome | Rolls Royce Phantom 1

Next up is our second most popular and one of my personal favourites – The Tarnhow Dome Freestanding Timber Canopy. I chose this car because I think the Tarnhow Dome is the ultimate canopy just like this classic. It’s got the appeal of a natural wood appearance with some great curves.

Whilst the Rolls Royce Phantom 1 is rare, the Welford Dome is anything but, in fact, it’s so popular that its dotted all over the country.

Kensington Mono-Pitch | Ford Mustang

I couldn’t write a car-inspired blog post without mentioning my dream car – the one and only Ford Mustang. I chose this car for the Kensington Mono-Pitch Free Standing Canopy because they are both stylish, robust have a real wow-factor appearance, plus they both look stunning in grey.

Ulverston Umbrella | Ford Escort MK1 Mexico

Keeping to the theme of fantastic fords – the Ulverston Umbrella has to belong to a MK1 Mexico in that fantastic Java Green colour to match the Aniseed that our Ulverston umbrella is available in. They’re both fun, and funky and looks great wherever you place them.

Tenby Entrance Canopy | Fiat Panda

In honour of our Marketing Admin Assistant, we have paired the Tenby Entrance Canopy with a Fiat Panda. Why? Because they are both small and compact, yet do the job perfectly, and they are ideal for those with less room who still want the full benefits, not to mention they are both cost effective.

Whiteside Entrance Canopy | Ford Fiesta

The Whiteside Entrance Canopy suits a Ford fiesta perfectly, they both have a satisfying, curved design and they are both great all-rounders, not too big, not too small, perfectly compact yet great for whatever you have in mind.

Hamilton Big Span-Canopy | Iveco Lorry

The Hamilton Big-Span Canopy of course has to be a lorry. This canopy, just like a lorry is large, industrial, tough and made for excessive wear. Whatever you have in mind for this canopy, it will live up to your expectations, and it most definitely will not fit in small areas.
