Ullswater Apex Freestanding Canopy
The Ullswater provides an entirely new way to build a freestanding canopy using a unique corner structure for ultimate strength and large self-supporting spans. It has a maximum width of up to 6 metres and an unlimited length.
Due to its unlimited length and large width, this canopy makes a unique revolutionary alternative to the basic wall mounted canopy. It is ideal for many environments including schools for use as play canopies and outdoor classrooms, restaurants and pubs for use as outside dining areas and parks and recreational grounds as waiting shelters and covered picnic areas.
Our freestanding systems have been around for nearly 25 years and have stood the test of time to give you complete peace of mind.

- Roof Panels – 35mm structured polycarbonate panels which are light in weight and up to 200 times stronger than glass
- Roof Panel Colour Options – The roof panels are available in clear or opal

Specification
The Ullswater provides an entirely new way to build a free-standing canopy using a unique corner system for ultimate strength and large self-supporting spans.
Strength:
Our 35mm structured polycarbonate panels are light in weight & up to 200 times stronger than glass.
Maintenance:
Our canopies require only periodic cleaning. To clean the roof we recommend a solution of warm water & a non-abrasive cleaner. For more information please see the maintenance schedule which is found in your After Sales pack.
Weather Resistance:
During the manufacture of our polycarbonate panels, a layer of UV absorber is co-extruded onto the surface forming a barrier against UV radiation. All structural components are made from aluminum, uPVC & steel for ultimate strength and total weather resistance.

Roof Panels
The polycarbonate roof panels are available in 35mm thick and a choice of clear or opal.
Roof Frame
The roof frame is supplied in white as standard and can be finished in any RAL colour at an additional cost.
Steel Underside and Posts
The steel underside and posts are available in any standard RAL colour; they can be galvanised and/or finished in any non-standard RAL colour at an additional cost.
