Roof Panels
The Tintern is sheltered with 4mm solid polycarbonate roof panels that offer many benefits and are extremely robust.
Fire Resistance - The clear polycarbonate roof panels that we supply as standard meet the European fire rating EN 13501-1 B s1 d0 and the UK fire rating BS 476 Part 7 Class 1Y.
UV Protection – The roof panels protect persons underneath against high levels of UV radiation that is generated by the sun. The protective UV coating also prevents the panels from yellowing due to sun damage.
Light Transmittance – The roof panels have excellent light transmittance subject to the colour chosen. The table below shows the results from the test method DIN 5036:

Framework
The Main frame is constructed from high grade aluminium components that are fixed to the wall with aluminium wall brackets and stainless steel support rods that are enclosed within aluminium tubes for extra durability.
Integral Guttering
The Tintern is supplied with integral aluminium guttering disperses water down the guttering and out through drip spouts that are located at the front sides of the canopy.
Loading Capabilities
The Tintern has passed the tests undertaken by TÜV for uniformly distributed loads up to 170daN/m². Please note these results are only valid for projections of 1.5m or less.

Frame
The frame is available in a choice of 7 colours as shown below. Additional colours are available at an additional cost.
Polycarbonate
The polycarbonate is supplied clear as standard with a choice of 5 alternative colours to choose from which are available at an additional cost as shown below:
